Opened August 2013, The Lost City Adventure Golf has quickly become a leading leisure venue in the East Midlands.
The idea for The Lost City started back in 2009 when owner, Lane Scott, played an adventure golf course back in his hometown of Belfast and was overwhelmed by how much fun people were having and how one activity could be so accessible to so many people!
Forward to August 2013 and his dream had become a reality having joined forces with leading miniature golf designers and builder, Castle Golf.
The site, situated in the basement of the popular Cornerhouse complex in Nottingham City Centre, was originally home to a large Virgin Active health club, and then later part of Genting Casino, and took 3 months, and an investment of £1.2 million, to strip out and transform into the tropical jungle it is today – after four years of planning.
“I looked around a lot for an ideal place for an indoor adventure golf, I saw that the unit in the Cornerhouse was available and knew that Nottingham was a great city so I thought it was the perfect spot.”
Almost 5 years on and we’re going from strength to strength having completed a refurb and extension in March 2015 giving us additional space for birthday parties, corporate events and an additional bar. We also transformed into a tiki paradise where customers can enjoy a leisurely alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink in our bar area and feel transported to the tropics! We also strive to keep improving our two 18 holes courses by adding to the themeing, introducing new obstacles and even an animal or two!
