About Us

The idea for The Lost City started back in 2009 when owner, Lane Scott, played an adventure golf course back in his hometown of Belfast and was overwhelmed by how much fun people were having and how one activity could be so accessible to so many people!

Forward to August 2013 and his dream had become a reality having joined forces with leading miniature golf designers and builder, Castle Golf.

The site, situated in the basement of the popular Cornerhouse complex in Nottingham City Centre, was originally home to a large Virgin Active health club, and then later part of Genting Casino, and took 3 months, and an investment of £1.2 million, to strip out and transform into the tropical jungle it is today – after four years of planning.

“I looked around a lot for an ideal place for an indoor adventure golf, I saw that the unit in the Cornerhouse was available and knew that Nottingham was a great city so I thought it was the perfect spot.”

Almost 5 years on and we’re going from strength to strength having completed a refurb and extension in March 2015 giving us additional space for birthday parties, corporate events and an additional bar. We also transformed into a tiki paradise where customers can enjoy a leisurely alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink in our bar area and feel transported to the tropics! We also strive to keep improving our two 18 holes courses by adding to the themeing, introducing new obstacles and even an animal or two!

The Tiki Bar

Our fabulous themed Tiki bar is the perfect place to reward yourself after a game of adventure golf, or simply to visit and enjoy a drink and bite to eat, soaking up our Caribbean atmosphere.

Serving up freshly baked pizzas, freshly prepared with a range of toppings and vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available (on request). Perfect to replenish energy levels after an exciting adventure on the courses.

Our tiki bar serves a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including mouth-watering cocktails, cocktails, cool beers, indulgent ice cream milkshakes and proper coffees – something for all ages and tastes. We also have a range of canned drinks which can be taken onto the course to be enjoyed while you play.

Open until late, seven days a week, simply place your order at the bar and sink into our comfortable seating as you wait for your food to be brought to your table. On Fridays and Saturdays you could catch one of our live music sessions and every day there’s a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

You can also enjoy 2-4-1 on cocktails every Monday to Thursday from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Tiki Friday boasts even more great deals and is every Friday from 5pm – 8pm

Coming for a night out? Why not ask about our cocktail masterclasses held in our private bar area, they’re great fun for groups of 6 or more and not only do you learn how to make the cocktails… you get to drink them too!
